Cook & Craft Summer Camp 2023
Our Cook & Craft camps in July connected children around the themes of baking and design - working on a distinct recipe each day. Walk through our photo collages to learn more about their experience.
The budding bakers enjoyed a special adventure making a Lollipop Sandwich. Guided by an expert confectioner, they learned, step-by-step, how to personalise each lollipop. After chocolatey-fun, they designed a bag with stickers to pack their lollies into.
From whipping up Shortbread Biscuits through painting the boxes they ferried them home in to family and friends, the young bakers took ownership of the whole product lifecycle in this particular "day in the life".
Baking and decorating their unique Fruit Muffins was only the beginning for this group - who also demonstrated plenty of artistic creativity in their box decorations!
Each and every craft idea was centred around the recipe being baked. From pen work right through gluing ribbons
together, participants got a chance to try it all over the Cook & Craft Camp week.
